Chicago datacenter moves

Purpose: During 9/19 and 9/20 As part of our Chicago datacenter expansion, we will be moving some core network hardware and servers inside the Chicago datacenter. Efforts will be made to minimize impact, but during the moves customers could see brief interruption in service lasting a few minutes each.

Systems Affected:
- CT Cloud Voice
- CT Cloud
- Microsoft Teams
- Cisco hosted
- Cisco Webex

Impact: - During equipment moves there may be brief interruptions in service that could last up to a couple minutes each. This would include services like

Upgrade Expressway to X15.3
Purpose: Security and Bug Fixes

Systems Affected: Cisco Jabber / Edge Phones

Impact: - Calltower will be upgrading the Edge servers for Jabber and MRA/Edge Devices. Users will experience a connectivity loss with their Jabber Client/Services and/or their MRA Edge connected device.

Outage: No

FR8 Route Reflector migration
Purpose: Migrating the FR8 route reflector from Hyper-V to VMware

Systems Affected: Sansay, Cisco Webex, Zoom and Microsoft Teams

Impact: - Customers may experience a brief connectivity disruption that may affect services in the Frankfurt datacenter.

Outage: Yes

Legacy DNS Service Shutting Down (Notice Only)

Purpose: Shutting down Slimer DNS in October MW

Systems Affected: CT Cloud SIP and CT Cloud Voice Customers

Impact: - If customer is using 69.54.70.15 or 69.54.75.28 for DNS services, please migrate to another DNS service, such as 8.8.8.8 (Google) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) before October 17
